Mayweather clears up rumors about fighting in the UFC.

For the past few days, the combat world has been buzzing about Floyd Mayweather possibly fighting in the UFC. Haha. Man, it was pretty funny because he is such a good promoter that he knows how to still stay relevant in the media after his retirement.

This got the MMA fans so furious that it just went viral. Everything from him fighting Conor Mcgregor in a 155-pound match to fighting GSP. Those fights would be Mega Super Bowl quality fights, however, just like the Ronda and Cyborg dream matchup, it will never happen.

“We just don’t know what the future holds for Floyd Mayweather,” Mayweather said. “And I don’t look forward to getting back in a boxing ring, that’s what I don’t look forward to. I’m just saying I could — I’m not doing it — but I’m saying what I could do to make a billion dollars quick, if I wanted to do that. That’s what I was saying. I never said I was gonna fight in the UFC. I didn’t say that. I said if I wanted to and what I could. Could and would do is different things. I’m not gonna do it, though.”

The last boxer I saw that tried to make a statement in the MMA world was former champ James "Lights Out "Tony. who fought against Rany Couture. That fight did not even last for one round and I am pretty sure James Tony did not land one punch in the entire
